Piano Libre is free. It contains no purchases, no subscriptions and no advertising, and it does not handle payment details of any kind.
The scores in the catalog come from several sources, and each keeps the license of its source. Most are in the public domain or dedicated to it under CC0 1.0 Universal: the OpenScore Lieder corpus and the PDMX (Public Domain MusicXML) collection.
The scores from the ASAP dataset (Foscarin et al.) are licensed under Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0). They may not be used for commercial purposes. Each of them is marked with its license in the catalog, and the dataset is credited in the app’s settings menu, with a link to its source.
You are responsible for ensuring that any custom files you import comply with local copyright laws.
